Read on for some excerpts of our interview with the Artist of the Month, Amy Giacomelli. Click the link below for more information and to view Amy’s art on BoundlessGallery.com.
Boundless: Could you describe some of your trips to the museums in L.A. or maybe some of the work that really inspired you as a child? Amy: What I remember most about trips as a kid to the modern and contemporary art museums in Los Angeles is that I would get so jazzed about seeing things I liked I would try to copy them when I came home! I remember really liking Warhol a lot.
Boundless: Did the move to Colorado coincide with a shift toward selling online or are there more opportunities to show and sell work in the Denver/Colorado Springs area than people expect? Amy: As for moving to Colorado, the big plus is that I have a huge studio in my house, in my other house my studio was my garage and I didn't have the room to create as much as I want. I would have had to rent out studio space and that just adds to costs.
Boundless: I see you have (at least through yesterday) 857 feedback on eBay and nearly 100% positive, to what do you attribute this success......

Find Art with the Colors that Suit your Mood on Boundless
Thinking of repainting some walls? Take a minute to consider how the color choices will affect the feel of the room and your mood as well, and of course the art that will complement your efforts. Just follow the links to see some Collections on BoundlessGallery.com with the specified color scheme.
Bright warm tones make a space feel cozy and intimate but may make small spaces feel cramped.
Yellow can lift your spirits but you want to avoid using it as the main color for bedrooms.
Cool colors help you to relax, but be sure to offset their chill with plenty of natural sunlight. They also recede so using cool colors in a small room can help to expand the walls just a little more.
Neutral tones help to remove stress and can exert a restful influence on a room.
Deep, rich colors set a sophisticated tone so use the deep reds, blues and purples for formal settings.
Primary colors are young and playful, perfect for children’s rooms or play rooms.
